Tuesday Night Textiles – 7 – 9 pm
Join us on Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm as we natter over knitting or chat over crochet – or do you fancy a bit of felting? Weaving, spinning – it’s all happening.
Forgotten how to read a pattern? What’s the difference between yarn over and double crochet? I’d like to use my mother’s spinning wheel – can you help? How do you weave? What is felting? Where can I get supplies, information, tuition? Can I just sit and knit…or crochet…or bring my needlework? Absolutely!
The Guild offers a quiet and friendly atmosphere at The Textile Arts Centre, 25 Poronui Street, Mt Eden for these weekly gatherings. They are also free and you even get a cuppa!”
All welcome – but for non-Guild members a small donation is appreciated.
